I'm currently a Staff Product Designer at Reverb (part of Etsy). So far in my career, I've helped solve problems and discovered opportunities for a wide range of organizations, including MURAL and Dell. My favorite projects give people greater autonomy and enjoyment in life, whether at home or at work.
My career started in visual arts, design, and writing. I later found myself drawn to practical applications of creativity in solving problems. This personal discovery led me to Austin, Texas, where I completed a MFA in Design at University of Texas. That's where I discovered design thinking. I've been living and working here ever since.
I am a lifelong learner and teacher. I currently mentor designers in Pathrise's a career development fellowship. I've mentored designers in other settings off and on for ~5 years. I've self-published and been featured on UX Collective.
Aside from design, I make art and write. My husband is a musician, and we share a love for the arts and a vast record collection. We're outdoors enthusiasts who have hiked on a few different continents. My cat, Apollo, is a hot mess who likes to occasionally interject during remote meetings.
👋 I'm an open book!
I practice divergent/convergent design thinking, and have incorporated lean and agile processes into my practice. I believe in strong relationships between engineers, product managers, designers, and data teams. I'm remote, but love to co-work at coffee shops in Austin.
